The circuit includes the following contests:, “Gran Prix Cavriglia”, “Gran Prix Castelnuovo dei Sabbioni”, “Gran PrixMontegonzi”, “Gran Prix Meleto Valdarno”.

The contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers worldwide. Entrants must own the copyright to all submitted photographs.

All parts, even the smallest, of the submitted images must have been photographed by the author submitting the work, who must therefore retain complete and original authorship and ownership. Photographs made with the exclusive use of computer graphics programmes or tools are not permitted (Article 1.5.23 of the FIAF Rules and Regulations); in compliance with this, no images made with AI (artificial intelligence) may be submitted.

2) The contest has four themes for digital images, referred to as:

• A) Free Open Color (Color Digital)

• B) Free Open Monochrome (Monochrome Digital)

• C) People (Monochrome/Color Digital)

• D) Environment (Monochrome/Color Digital)

You can submit up to 4 works for theme. For a maximum total of 16 Photos.
The same photo can’t be showed in different themes.
The color images can’t be presented as monochromatic photos.

Works that have already been accepted to one or more of the previous editions of this circuit may not be submitted.

Please note that the organisers will in no way be responsible for the fact that an author may possibly upload a photo that has already been accepted to one of the previous editions of the competition. In the event that this happens, that photo will lose any acceptance and any prizes won, once it has been verified that that photo was indeed already previously accepted.

Attention: When uploading photos, please take special care to ensure that each photo is placed in the appropriate theme. Please note that if, for example, the author erroneously uploads black and white photos in the free colour theme (or vice versa), the organisers will not be able to rectify this error, so these photos will be judged off-topic by the jury and will therefore not be admitted.

Digital images of all themes must be in JPG format; the size must be 1920 pixels on the long side, with a resolution of 300 dpi (maximum 4 Mb), in both formats color or monochrome. Files must be saved in sRGBcolor space.
The length of the photo titles must not exceed 25 characters.
Each judge will be connected to the central server through the HPCM (Hiho Photo Contest Manager) program for managing photographic competitions provided by HIHO srl.
Each judge will express a vote, for each single photograph, from 3 to 9 according to their liking. Considering that each jury is composed of 3 elements, we will have a minimum vote of 9 and a maximum vote of 27.
The photos of each participant will not be shown to the judges consecutively.
